About JA Portugal
Junior Achievement Portugal is a non-profit organization, created in 2005, with the mission to provide entrepreneurship education programs for young people. We are a member of JA Worldwide, the 7th best non-profit organization in the world according to NGO Advisor.
Every year, with the support of our associates and around 2,000 volunteers, we impact through our programs more than 36,000 students from three levels of education: basic, secondary and university. Through the principle of learning by doing, students who participate in our programs are able to have fun, hands-on, high-impact experiences that give young people a taste of life in the real world. These learning experiences motivate and inspire students to acquire the skills they need for future career success.
