For more than 10 years, ManpowerGroup’s investment in Junior Achievement globally has taught students how to succeed in the workplace and achieve financial literacy. We know which skills employers want, and we bring this practical experience to JA’s mission to inspire 10 million students every year to dream big, seek out experience and reach their potential.
Over the last decade, we’ve invested over $2 million and thousands of volunteer hours in over 35 locations. We’re proud to deliver successful, long-term programs that help students build skills in work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
At European level, ManpowerGroup has been sponsoring JA Company of the Year Competition since 2017 offering the Ready For Work Award that recognizes entrepreneurship and different aspects of work readiness during the competition. Our prize will go to the student team that will display ability, likeability and drive – all of which are integral to learnability – and their project should nurture and inspire these qualities in others. The winning team will be awarded a year-long mentorship program, delivered by Talent Solutions Coach and Subject Matter Experts from different functions across ManpowerGroup. In 2019, ManpowerGroup became a Gold Partner of JA Europe .
